    G.Weike laser losing its mind!

I purchased a 2'x3' GWeike laser engraving machine a couple of years ago with an 80W tube. I moved houses a few months ago and recently fired it up for the first time since the move. I'm experiencing very odd behaviors with the machine:

    1) Sometimes the head moves off in a 45 or 270 degree line, deviating from the target cut.
    2) Sometimes it stops in the middle of the job. The clock continues to count but it is locked up and not firing. The only way to get out of this state is to reboot.
Given the randomness, it's almost like their is a loose connection or a grounding wire not connected or something like that' I've checked all the connections and everything seems solid.

Anyone else run across anything like this?

I think I figured out the problem. As is so often the case with random behavior, I think it is a grounding problem. I unthreaded and rethreaded the grounding lug to the power supply, and even ran a second wire to another point on the frame and the problem appears to be gone. I still love that the manufacturer told me when I bought it to bury the grounding wire a couple of inches into the ground. Classic!
