Hi, I'm new to edgeCAM, I did just use it in a training last summer and now 2013 has been installed on all my computers in my classroom. However there is no "Feature Finder" button? I've looked through all the customize tool bar options and it's as if it doesn't exist?! I tried a search and it appears no one else has run into this problem. Please help!

hi, try with OPTION > PROFILE and select one pro

Looking at your toolbars, it seems like you need to reset back to default.

Options - Profiles - Mill/Turn or MillTurn - Default.

Feature-find icon should appear (pair of binoculars) at lower left toolbar at top of screen.

Tried all the profiles with no such luck. The Toolbar to the left doesn't display it and I can't find it as a button to add still.

Only other thing I can think of is you don't have a solids licence? Have you ever used feature finder before? If you reset to default profile you'll get the icon on the left as mentioned before, or it will appear under the Solids menu. See jpeg. If not, I'm guessing it's something to do with your educational licence, so speak to your Edgecam rep. Alternatively post on the official Edgecam forum ... Object moved
