I have an dual turret OKUMA LT10-M machine.
After replacing several memory cards and other stuff and backing up the system parameters etc, machine doesn't want to rotate turrets in automatic or MDI mode, while it rotates in manual mode by pressing the turret rotate switch. Machine is displaying 2248-02 alarm-b data word "T". Solution described in machine help menu doesn't solve my issue. Can someone help me out?

Control is OSP7000L
Turet travel limits are indicated.
I need to add that we can rotate the turret in manual mode. After indexing at any position machine takes T0101, but not any other tool.
Machine display an error 2284-02 ALARM-B (Illegal command), but the comand structure is the same for T01 as for any other tool.

It looks like we miss some parameters or something. (i have checked the angles; they are 0; 30; 60....)

are you sure about the alarm #?
2284 in my OSP7000L alarm book (publication 3814-E) is "SCHEDULE PROGRAM program end'

You are right; alarm is 2248-2!!!

open the turret cover. There is a wheel with some inductive sensors inside. Could be timing belt also. Check it.

It's not a mechanical thing because it works in manual mode and in program but only for T0101.
The alarm relates to the program command, but it's not the program either.
For that alarm, the alarm book says the tool number must be less than 32.
There is a parameter to set the number of tools for each turret.
My guess is that parameter is set wrong and it thinks you have just 1 tool. So T0101 works but not any higher than 01
Check your parameter manual and find the parameter relating to the number of tools on each turret.
And since you have changed boards and replaced parameters, a parameter problem is the most obvious cause of your problem.....

We have solved the problem by changing parameters from 1 tool to 12 tools.
I will post later on exactly which parameter was changed.
