The UK web site has a page that features a plug in for Alibre to export Alibre parts to PM3D. I recently purchased Dolphin PRO. I also have Geomagic design which is the latest version of Alibre. Try as I might I can not get the plug in to install or run. Support told me it should just be there and work.

Has anyone gotten the PM3D plug in to work with Geomagic Design?

For me I just saved the part in Alibre as an iges, then launched PM3D then opened the iges file.

To see if you have PM3D installed, look for the pm3d.exe

C:\Program Files (x86)\PM3D is where mine was loaded.

I now have a shortcut on my desktop for it.

I have done the same and it works fine. The only advantage the plug in would have is eliminating the export step, which would be useful.

Hello,

I have attached a file that explains how to get the Alibre add-on to work with Geomagic.

This is a temporary fix until we have new version of the installer that works with Goemagic and Alibre.
