why the laser not line up (cutting original point does not meet end point)

    Hi everyone
Recently we had a customer has a problem with his laser:
When he cut anything with rounded corners or circles the laser will not line up. See below photo.

we tried to help him solve the problem by following steps:

This fault should be caused by X-axis out of plumb with Y-axis.
Please check the gears of Y-axis like below pictures, just pull the belt and check if the gears are loosen or not,
if yes, please fix them. and test your machine again.

If still not ok, please cut a square with 150x150mm size, and measure the two diagonal lines are equal or not,

If they are not equal and even more than 0.5mm D-value,
then we have to readjust the X-axis and Y-axis mechanical part to make them vertical.

If the belt/gear are tight enough, or the fault still there after fixed, or the gears are not able to be fixed.

if anyone has any suggestion for these steps or for other possibilities,
    please give us advice,
    thanks in advance.

After checking belt tension, checking pulleys that they are well secured, belt for burns/wear, it could either be the resolution/tuning of the motor is off or you have a motor that is missing steps would be my two cents worth.
