We recently purchased a used Quintax CNC router with a Fagor 8055 control. Everything on the machine works fine except the pendant box handwheel. The box will select each axis, but the handwheel will not move them. The readouts on the monitor screen will change slightly and then return to the original number. This pendant box works fine on our other router. The Quintax technician and the Fagor technician suspected the pendant box cable ,so the Quintax technician replaced it with a new cable that he temporarily ran outside of the main cable run. He had felt that it could be noise interfering with the signal. We have checked the cable shielding repeatedly. Now everyone is out of ideas. We are looking for some fresh ideas. Thanks.

The Portable Handwheels on Quintax Machines have 24V IO connection and the 5V or 24V pulse outputs.

A few questions:
1- is this a 5V handwheel or 24V?
2- What is Connector Number that the handwheel pulse output is connected to (For Example X6 on 8055)
3- The Connector Number and the General Parameter AXIS?? must match. So I need the few first Axes definition values in General parameter. Handwheel Value is 11.
