FANUC Machine center and KUKA robot INTEGRATION

    Hello to all,

I would like to ask the experts if anyone here had already gone through the process of integrating a CNC (vertical mill) equipped with a FANUC Oi-MD control with a KUKA robotic arm.

If so, I would really appreciate any tipe of advise/info. I was just asked to get involved on this proyect. I do have extensive experience as an integrator with several proyects in my backpack, but another colleague that has already overseeing this proyect had mentioned that he is planning on using a DEVICENet Card to have these two machines talking. We are actually integrating a whole CIM unit for educational purpouses. Look forward to hear from you and thanks in advance.
