How to stop "Generating Tool Path" pita

Sometimes, and far too often, Mach3 will stop at a line of code and report that it is "Generating Tool Path" and not continue until the path has been generated. It will do this for every line of code. I hit cancel and it will go to the next line of code then do it again.

How can I make this annoying process go away?

    Thanks,
    John

I have never seen that happen before...
wonder if it doesn't like a specific line of code or something?
or maybe a certain order or something?

Doesn't seem to relate to any specific line, it happens randomly. Yesterday I was running a proven code and it just happened. I had to shut everything down and re-start, then AOk.

On the "Diagnostics" screen, there is a button called "Toolpath On/Off". That worked for me.

    Dan,

Thanks. That should work. I messed with the "button" under the tool path display w/o effect. I'll try your technique next time.

The "optional block skip" can cause this. It has to rebuild when it skips a block.
