    Confused on Dolphin abilities

I used to draw parts in Alibre. After moving and finally getting set back up, i find out that my version of Alibre doesn't work on the newest version of windows, and so I must upgrade my drawing software.

I am looking at Dolphin because it is in my price range, and seems to have pretty good CAM support.

However, I am confused on what the capability of the drawing part (Partmaster) is. Can it do full 3D objects like Alibre? I used to draw things like wheels with a dome shaped hub or other contours in them, then feed the .stl file in to something like Meshcam, and get the gcode from there.

Can Dolphin do this all in one package? Or is it limited to drawing 2D objects? Since you can import .stel files, it seems the CAM section can handle 3D machining, but what about the drawing side?

The attached files below will give you an overview of some limitations within the CAD. It does not offer the same feature set as Alibres CAD package.
