hi all
I need some help with my Twinhorn mill with fanuc 0i-mc control, 2007 year
the PWE 8900 parameter wont change, I am in emergency stop and in MDI mode it keep blinking ''WRITE PROTECT''

I dont have the fanuc books so any help would be grateful

the machine is working fine I just bought it but it is set to work on the memory card parameter #20 is 4, what is the parameter
that should stand there in order to use the RS232 comunication?
I dont have the memory card and this control does not have Ethernet

this are start up details about the software:
OMM : DX37 -05
PMC : V1 - 30

Why are you trying to change the pwe parameter there? Its in the setting page, I believe second page down. Says PWE.

I am trying to establish one (drip feed) comunication
Any sugestion about the I/O CHANNEL AND DEVICE NUM.
Iknow that channel 4 is for memory card.

ok this is the deal

I menage to find how to change pwe and other parameters

I'we come to a point where when I try to drip feed my Cimco stops and wait after sending 128 bytes to the CNC,
the machine execute this few lies of the program and stops
settings on the PC are baud 9600,stop bits 2, data bits 7, parity even
but I think that something is not right at the CNC side I only get this results when the I/O channel is 1
I dont know what are channels 0, 2 and 3

please help me with some sugestions or parameter manual for Oi-MC I think it can help a lot, unfortunately I dont have it
