Guys I need to edit a mach3 post so that whenever the program finishes running the spindle lifts up to a safe Z distance and goes back to the work zero.
At the current time, the post just lifts from the piece and remains in place (X,Y).

I wanted to shared that editing the post was / is a very pretty straight forward process both via rhinicam or by directly editing the spm file with a text editor.
luckily, their support team is great and has been very helpful with my questions. in short when i started this thread it was because win7 (my os), would not let rhinocam write to the files in the post folder. This forced me to do the editing via text file which taught me something new and allowed me to do a few other tweaks not available via the software interface.
Thanks rhinocam support for your help. Now back to cutting.
