Question MCD-500 Chip conveyor won’t turn on

As the subject suggests, I have a MCD-500 and the chip conveyor quit running. If anyone has any idea what to check next or further diagnose the problem I would appreciate it.
This is what I have checked and found so far:

    1) There is no power at conveyor motor, and no power out at board (240v 3ph) when conveyor is turned on at the control
    2) Inspection of the motor junction box looks normal, capacitor is not burned
    3) Conveyor is not jammed
    4) Chip conveyor breaker is on, and power is flowing through it
    5) Verified that the chip conveyor is still enabled in the control
    6) Diagnostics shows it turns off and on, changes between 0 and 1
    7) Board check light turns on (red) when chip forward is pressed
    8) When reverse is pressed reverse solenoid works and board reverse check light comes on (red)

I am afraid it may need a new board, but would like to be sure before ordering one.

    M_D,

On the IO board to the right of the plug for the conveyor there is a 4 wire plug that is your 230VAC 3PH input to the IO that powers your auger. If you have power at this plug but no power to your motor then it's a good bet that your IO PCB needs to be replaced. They run about $1400 and have a core on top of that. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

    Thank you,

    Phil

Phil, thank you for your response. I hadn't checked for an answer lately as no one had responded the first week or so. I did check the incoming power to the board and it was good, so I came to the same conclusion as you and bought a new IO board about 10 days or so ago.

I have had too much work to get it changed out yet, hopefully this weekend I will get it done. I still need to make sure there are no shorts in the cable and auger motor before I change it out that could blow the new board. Hopefully the new board will fix it up.

I wanted to report the new I/O board fixed the problem with the chip conveyor.
