    help with 5v power supply

I am finishing the hook-ups for my 3-axis xylotex board, have the 12v - 6amp power supply hooked up, fan , fuse and switch all done. I need to get a 5v power supply, is this something I could get at Radio shack and is there a particular one I should be looking for ? thanks for any help you could provide ..Jim

You can get a "power steal" cable from xylotex that will attatch straight to the inside of the PC. Or failing that, just take the side off the comp, and grab a spare molex connector. Red wire is +5v.

I got the power steal cable included with mine. Is there a reason you don't want to use that?
