Hello,

I bought a lathe Mazak Multiplex 410 with control Mazatrol T32-4. The lathe has about two weeks in the hall for the duration of the repair tool heads, a dozen times was strapped to power and run for a while (5-10 minutes) and everything was fine until yesterday. Lathe launched once (system loaded from a floppy disk) shifted a tool heads and then turned off, an hour later she gave advice to run it.

When loading data from a floppy disk system for about 55% percent of throws error "MFD ERROR". My guess is that this may be a problem with the system diskette or floppy, but hard for me to be more determined because this is my first Mazak. Perhaps the problem is also with some battery if it was an efficient system to run instantly from the cache rather than from a floppy disk, it took me much longer (green bar went from 100% to 0% about 2-3 minutes) several times can system is loaded immediately.

If anyone has any experience in this topic, I asked for any help.

That is a "main floppy drive" error. Call the MAZAK service center in Atlanta, Ga. and ask for the tech dept. Talk to Tim Kirby, and he will point you in the right direction as to the availability and price on a new drive. You may want to get on ebay and try to find the error code book for your machine.
