Always when I mill pockets, default presetting is “dipping with rapid motion”

If I forget to regulate it, I can throw it away.

It can’t be corrected later. The dipping motion stays on G0.

Is it possible to set G1 as presetting?

    Hello!

You can change motion behaviour in the .mas file

    Path: .../Data/WPROFI32/MASCH

    - open the .mas file with a text editor.
    - Search for ETV
    - Input ETV:1;0
    - Save
    - Restart ProfiCAM

Now G1 has to be output at start.

    Enjoy!

    Unhappy

I don’t want to change ETV. Otherwise G1 will be chosen for each contour milling.

Programmers from COSCOM should know that one always dips with rapid motion during pocket milling.

The problem is that I can’t change it later.

    It’s very intricately.

If I make a pocket, I often use the following method: creating of edges as polyline. Then I generate the departed contours into my graphic/ model.

    Hello,

I’m not sure if I understand the problem correctly.
When I want to change the dipping feed motion, I make it with positioning from G0 into G1 or conversely.

    Arrow

We have dipping with rapid motion preset, because we often mill contours.

The presetting is then applied for pocket milling as well.

Belated changing onto G1 doesn’t work.

    I hope for improvement!

    I don’t understand the problem!

    You can change everything later!!!

    The file defines only presetting.

Then you can change everything via positioning.

Have you contacted the hotline? They certainly can help.

You can set G01 as presetting in the tab „position“.
Then it has to work, with dipping as well.
I had the similar problem and solved it in this way.

As it was said:if the masch-file is preset, you can’t change later onto G1…

Although there stands G1 in the tab, but it’s still G0 in the output.

    I hope it will change.

    @DerFräser

And if you try to change it in ProfiCAM?
    Stays it the same?
I never set dipping at G00. If I want to dip faster, I declare the 10000th feed motion.
