    Hello people!

    I’m new here and inexperienced in solidcam.

    I have a problem: I have to engrave figures in some details.
    How can I do it? I haven’t ever done this!

    Hello

    Do you mean confirmed numbers or consecutive ones?

    If confirmed, then place them into Cad as text and engrave with a profile job.

    If they are consecutive, I would use parameter programs by HH. You can find them somewhere in the arena.

    Hello,

    I would suggest usage of SC font “DPS single…”, because it’s a single line font and you can run midpoint path without font width.

    Exactly, you should use the DPS-single line (it was developed by DPS-software). Open a sketch text, you have to unlock it in Solidworks. Then you can engrave the sketch with 3D engraving.

    Where can I find this font? I have searched through the whole PC…

    Thanks

    Hello,

    @High Speed:

    the font is usually on the SolidCam-CD if you’re a customer of DPS. Certainly DPS isn’t the only distributor.
