Our firm wants to change from Visi 18 to Visi 19.

I would like to hear from people that are using the 19th version if you are satisfied and what problems the Visi 19 brings along.

Where many errors eliminated with the first updates?

I am really looking forward to the new version. I am excited about the tool path batch
calculation: if it really goes quicker with a 64bit system than the 18 version

I am glad about any answers I get and thank you very much in advance. =)

    Hello happyhias

Yes we did the change to the 19 version. There were many ‘bigger’ problems before the last update. So you should definitely install it.

Most of the current errors that were eliminated with the previous update (according to the support) where reported by German users. I guess we take it more serious in Germany than in the rest of Europe.tounge.gif

We only had problems executing the update.cfg- many of the system settings from the V18 were not transferred. So a lot of manual rework was necessary! =(

Apart from that I am really surprised in a positive way about all the stuff that has changed regarding the machining and also the CAM calculation speed is definitly quicker.

I think the V19 is definitely a step in the right direction but there is still work to be done.

...although I am waiting for a long time that Vero changes its installation routine... who needs an install in all kinds of languages?
