    Hello

TopSolid supports the option radius compensation in cycle 5 axial roll off - has anybody aquired any experiences?
We are currently using iTNC530 and according to our TopSolid partner, we cannot use this option.

    Is that true?

In my view, iTNC530 is a very good controller and the manual says that it can carry out radius compensation with vectors in TCPM mode....

I would really appreciate a NC program extract, THANK YOU!!

    Hello Andi
No, it’s not possible to use radius compensation in the 4 axial area nor in the 5 axial one.
( that the hook exists only shows that radius compensation is in the planning stage)

Since the V6.12 Version, it’s now possible to use radius compensation with a 3 axial processing- however for this purpose you would need to adjust the postprocessor.

    Kind regards

    Hello Lazio182!
    Thank you for your answer.
However I don’t understand why in the PDF "C:ProgrammeMisslerV611localenglishUSTopSolid.pdf" it says the following

    Quotation:
„It is possible to manage 5 axis diameter tool compensation. Be careful, it is necessary that the
machine-tool controller knows how to manage this and that the PPs are adapted.“

Is that an error in the PDF?
But why would Missler mention this point and include the checkbox in the cycle if it doesn’t work with any controllers?
    Cu
    Andi
