    Points on arcs

When I get files from some of my customers in DXF format I open them in Auctocad. On the arcs I have hundreds of points. When I bring the file into Mach 3 it takes forever and the gcode file is huge and the router never gets to the feed rate that I set. How do I reduce them?

    Thanks

If you're sure all the points are on the same arc, can't you just create a new three-point arc using the first point, last point, and one of the other points? Then you could erase all the old arc geometry.

That's what I'd do. Hopefully you don't have to deal with hundreds of arcs.
