    Hi, next weeks we have to write a program with 4 slanting holes D3 at 50-60 mm expend length of the driller and with an angle of 25 degrees.

    Here’s my question: what holder would be suitable? We have to pan the B-axis and we don’t want other tools to hit something. Has anyone ever done something like that?

    Thanks in advance

    Good morning

    What other tools do you mean? And what does the detail look like?

    More information would be useful.

    Regards
    Potti

    More info would be surely an advantage.
    Radial I would take a straight bore holder.
    Axial a 90 degrees cornered one.

    If you can, program such a machine yourself.

    @wimu:
    Poti is right. More info would be not bad.
    To program such a thing oneself??? We have G400 with motor milling arbour (mounted on Y-B-A -axis), counter spindle and a bottom turret. And we program such things manually!

    @ RAAL
    Is it a machine with motor milling spindle or with turret?
    It should work with L180 (turned coordinates around the Y-axis)
    You only have to work in x providing that you position your B-axis appropriately before that.
