Chinese machine tool show set for 2007
Shanghai, May 31, 2006-World's largest machine tool consumer - China- will be staging its Shanghai International Machine Tool Fair in 2007, with the focus on advanced CNC machine tools and systems.
China has been the world's largest machine tool consumer and importer for four successive years. The country's spending on machine tools is expected to reach US$12 billion in 2006. In 2005, the figure was US$10.9 billion. Advanced computer numerically-controlled (CNC) machines have already been the mainstream of China's machine tools market in 2005. Shanghai International Machine Tool Fair 2007 will be staged from Jul. 25 to 28, 2007 at shanghai New International Expo Centre, China.
'More and more international machine tool manufacturers will expand their business into China market. For when we made promotion of our show at EMO 2005 hannover, 30% of exhibitors have this plan in five years. They are happy to know that there is an Eastpo2007 fair in Shanghai.' said Eric Chung, president of Eastpo Int'l Expo Corp, 'We also had a successful talk with industrial associations like AMT, MTA, VDW, JMAA, KOMMA, FADMA, TMDIA and TAMI to make Eastpo2007 the largest international machine tool fair in Shanghai, China.' Shanghai International Machine Tool Fair2005 successfully closed on 29th July 2005. Its exhibition area reached more than 46,000sqm.
EASTPO 2005 brought together some 640 companies (15% overseas), including Okuma, Mazak, Haas, Hardinge Doosan, Mitsubishi, Citizen, Agie Charmilles, Spinner, Fadal, Amada and many others from 26 countries and regions like Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Korea, America, Japan, and China's Taiwan. EASTPO 2005 attracted a total of 52,322 (3616 foreign) trade professionals within four days.

We bring more ten Haas machines to the show and happy to find there are more professional visitors than ever.
