    Hello guys
    Has anybody tried to slotted a feather key groove with the WNT tool on a Mini Mill or a Vf?
    Spindle orientation on board! Who has got some experience?

    Hello
    I have slotted grooves in 1.4301 with tools from Horn on a DMC 63V- worked really well!
    I have oriented the spindle and then always feed 0,02mm steps- the result was almost always accurately fitted. I hardly needed to do any correction when processing the grooves. However that’s about 5 years ago.
