    Hello,
I have a problem with the Okuma MAC TURN 250 machine (OSP 200L controller)

For the first time I want to program a double sided turned part in the dialogue.
But how do you calculate the neutral points? I would like the machine to calculate it over jaw height, clamping depth and work piece length.

I thought that you enter these three values for HSP and GSP into a NC program at the beginning of the dialogue programming.

    Thanks for your help

    Good evening,

The setting of the neutral points has first of all nothing to do with your dialogue programming.
You can enter the neutral point of the main spindle and sub spindle using variables which you can then access and settle in the NC programm.
A possibility would be to measure the leading edge of the lining and then enter the work piece length with a depth gauge into a variable.
That would enable you to calculate the neutral points.

    Greetings

Exactly, I put the leading edges of the lining for revolver A /B respectively for HSP and GSP into variables.
