    Hello
I have a Okuma MAC TURN 250 with a OSP 200L controller (without B axis)
How can I swivel the revolver with the hand wheel? So that I can see if long tools go past the work piece/chuck when I swing them in.

    Hello ste836!

You only have a chance to exert influence with the hand wheel, if the revolver is set up as NC axis by the manufacturer.
If it is a simple electronic revolver, then the revolver will just swivel through completely

    Regards

When the mechanic adjusted the machine, he controller the swivel movement of the spindle with the hand wheel. I believe that he changed something in the parameter for that. However, I forgot to note it down.
But I also know it from revolver turning machines, that it’s possible to swivel the revolver with the hand wheel.

Do you have the collision software CAS?
Then it should be switched on in the manual operation mode.
Then you should be able to swivel the revolver and the chuck over the C axis with the hand wheel.
However that all also should be set up in CAS.
