    Hello

Can anybody explain how to set up a tool progress surveillance on the Okuma MB56V with OSP-200M based on an example?
The example fin the manual doesn’t help me out.

I want to use a T145 (HPC- cutter D16) on tool space 1 and as an exchange tool T150 (HPC- cutter D16) on tool space 2.
In our experience we have to renew T145 after 25parts.
How do I tell the controller that i want to exchange T145 either after 25 parts or after 8hours for T150?

I hope you understand what I am planning to do?

    Regards
    Steffen

I don’t know if it’s the same on the Okuma but on a Heidenhain you have to enter the maximum downtime in minutes that the cutter should run for and then you also have to define a sister tool. Then the clock goes backwards and when the downtime of the cutter has run out it automatically substitutes the new one in.

I don’t know Okuma at all... I just talk about HH...
