    Hello together
I have now been working with a Traub TNA 300 for 2 weeks and I have the following problem:
When I mill a SW 3.48 onto a no. 6 rod with the hexagonal milling cycle, then I always have a light shade or transition in the middle of the surface!

Before I turned and milled with a Siemens 840d and there was the command G64, meaning flowing transition or block change without feed rate reduction!

Is there something similar on the Traub TX8i?

Of course it could have other reasons, I am open for all proposals!
    Thanks in advance!

Without knowing the Traub machines, I'd say that the tool is not mounted to the spindle centre.
If you hold a hair ruler or something similar to the surface, then there would be a minimal paragraph in the middle of the area.
If there is a slight bump or hollow in the middle of the area then maybe there is something wrong with the axis-reversal-lose- compensation.
If you never set up something like that then its better to get the service technician to do it.
So first check the centre offset spindle/cutter and then eventually readjust it. If nothing improves, adjust backlash.
