I just installed the PC software Datapilot 4110 for our Kern CD 322 with Heidenhain controller in order to move along a DXF contour.

Now I get the following error message when I import a DXF contour that was created with Autocad 2000: “general error when converting DXF”

If I use the example runner, then the program takes the DXF.
If I save the runner in autocad 2000 DXF format beforehand, then the same error message comes up.

Does the program has a general problem with the Autocad DXF format or am I doing something wrong?

    Hello Basti,
Maybe you have another layer like dimensioning or anything else on top of the drawing and that’s why your DXF is not supported.
As far as I know the DXF version 12 or 14 work best according to Heidenhain.

It should be explained in the manual.

    Kind regards

    Alex
