    Hello

I am not sure if I am in the right forum but can anybody tell me if all Siemens controller use the same programming?

So can I use a program that was written for a 840D, on a 802S controller?
    Or are there different cycle?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Kind regards
    Dominik

    Hello

As long as your write your programs in DIN then the programs are interchangeable. However every manufacturer has its own preferences regarding H-words and M-command. However that can be change easily.

But you can forget the cycle, they are too different, It’s better to re-defined the cycle again on the particular machine. Of course that also includes the cycle call. You will find the necessary information on Doconweb and Sinupedia
    .
    Regards
    Michael
