Hello
I want to secure programs from a processing centre with Sinumerik 840D Sl on my computer in my office...
I want to use WinSCP as we already have this program.
However I can only reach the PLC /card/or user/sinumerik/data/archive
..and not the NC where all current programs are stored. These are the ones that want to save.
How can I go to the NC with WinSCP?

Have a look in the forum.. i think people talked about that before.

I can access the machine but only the archive and not the Nc?!

You can’t access the NCK of the Sinumerik. Only several registers of the hard disk can be accessed.

That’s a shame. So I guess we have to buy a program.. like the RCS commander?

You can buy whatever you want but you can’t access the NCK externally
-> Because of security reasons... wink.gif
If you want to save the program you need to do it on the machine.
