    I’d like to know what is the difference between “normal” siemens 840d, 840 d powerline and 840 solution line?

    Hello Markus777,

    The Powerline works under Windows, the Solutionline under Linux.
    There’s fast no difference for users.

    It’s not quite right…

    Powerline also works under caldera dr dos!

    840D sl is just an innovation of the controller…

    so not the software, but the controlling elements… of separate devices…

    so those boards behind in the machine!

    I learned it at an exhibition
