Servo motor specs. and driver setting questions.

If a motor has the specs. below what specs. are needed for a driver and if you were setting up the driver for this motor what continous current would you set it at and what voltage would you run the motor at? I have a 36v power supply. If this motor was runnig on 36v what type performance can I expect as far as wattage and rpm is concerned?

    Continuous Torque: .4Nm/57oz.in.
    Peak Torque: 2.83Nm/400oz.in.
    Speed at terminal voltage: 4000
    Terminal Voltage: 60v
    Continuous current: 3.7
    Peak Current: 25.9
    Torque Constant: .1213Nm/A 17.1oz.in./A
    Voltage constant:12.7 v/KRPM
    Iductance: 6.4mH

I am trying to learn the servo side of this CNC stuff a little better and it amy also help some others.

    Thanks
    Tommy

Speed calc as follows: (36/12.7)*1000 = please do the math

Torque will depend on how much amperage you can provide.

If you an provide the continuous current spec noted, you should be able to realize the continuous torque rating.

    The following may help

To get peak toque (400), you need to be able to provide PEAK current (about 25 to 30 amp capacity peak with minimal voltage drop at that level of current delivery should suffice)
