    Hello

I need some help or rather some information about how to mill an inclined front surface onto a pipe with a turning machine ( Spinner TC 400 with 2 axes Siemens 840d Shopturn )

The complete front surface should be chamfered to an angle of 6°. (Visually like a mitre cutting on the front side)

Tools as powered angle tools are available. Maybe somebody has an idea how to help me.
The spindle should just stand still and the mill needs to drive backwards in an angular position.
With my programming, the mill runs around like a spiral on the outside surface.

    Many thanks in advance

    Regards to everybody

Yes, that works with ‘line by line milling’ in G-codes by setting markers and repeating it. However it takes too long. You can also use REPEAT for the programming.
