    Hello

    I’ve got a problem with planar cut-in.
    Every time I try to make it, an error occurs: 061603 cut-in form isn’t correctly defined. The chisel is defined with cutter 1 form 2 and cutter 2 form 3.
    It seems to me that I made everything correctly, according to the instruction. But probably something isn’t right.
    Could anybody help?

    Regards, Jan

    Example:
    G18G0
    G54
    G75X1=0Z1=0
    T5
    G96S120LIMS=2000F0.12M4
    G0X20Z5
    CYCLE93( 50.00000, 50.00000, 10.00000, 6.00000, , , , , , , ,0.03000, 0.03000, 2.00000, ,6, )

    Hello Jan
    It would be helpful to have a sketch. Your start point and the first values in the cycle don’t match up. But maybe I’ve got my wires crossed somewhere. Do you mean the cutter coat writing cutter form 2/3?

    If you do, it can be the problem. The coat has to be 7 in case of planar cut-in, it should work with 2 D-numbers.

    Greetings
    Michael

    Hello Michael
    Thanks for your reply. Yes, I meant the cutter coat.
    The problem has been solved. The mistake had been in the angle between the planar and the roll axis. It has to be 90° for planar cut-in and not 0.
