    Hello everybody!

I have a problem with data transfer at Norte with the 820 controller.
We’ve changed to the mobile solution of a notebook.
Since then data transfer has worked only from the machine to the notebook (download). With the old computer it works in both directions.
The error #28 ring buffer overflow V24 occurs after the start of upload.

    Preset values:

    Baudrate : 9600
    Data Bits : 7
    Stop bits : 1
    Parity : even
    Flow Control : XON/XOFF

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello!
I’ve had the same problem with a new computer.
Reduce baud rate to 2000. If many programs work, then the error occurs.

    Regards

    Hello,
    Thanks for you suggestion!
Unfortunately I don’t have bit settings for another baud rate at the machine. It isn’t a problem at the PC, but the values have to be the same at both sides.

    Allocation RTS-LINE
Should it be 5018-5020 or am I wrong?
    Our manual suggests only 9600.

    Regards

    Hello!

I know it only for the 810 controller. It’s 5019 and 5021 there.

The baud rate for 2400 would be 0101
    And for 1200 = 0100

    Maybe it helps.

    Regards

    P.S. RTS-Line?
You have to use either Xon/Xoff or RTS/CTS, but not a mix of both of them!

    5019 and 5021 is right.
But your problem is that you use DOS-Software with windows XP.
    Suggestion:
    1. Reduce baud rate
    2. Boot DOS
    3. Use Windows-program. It works even with HyperTerminal.

    Thanks for your help!

    @ Meister

    Controller has RTS-LINE, program - XON/XOFF.
    But it works.

    @ HaDi

    I’ve tried thta with 4800 and 2400, but it doesn’t work 100%.
I took a look at the settings of NC-linc and found "LINE DELAY". It stands at 50 milliseconds and it works with baud rate 9600.

Thanks for your help once again!

    Peter
