    Hi

    I’d like to know what retraction feed motion you use during rubbing.
    I work with 840ds.

    Please with material, bore diameter and speed. It’s just for comparing.

    I.e. S=1000 U/min F=2000 mm/min

    Rubbing doesn't deal with controller! Technology is always the same!

    Important is what surface I need (Ra/Rz) and cutting material.

    HSS
    Hard metal charged
    Hard metal
    PCD

    Which do you have for which purpose?
