    Hello!

I’m a beginner in a matter of Inventor!

    My question is:
I’m dimensioning an .ide file. I’ve got an external thread M42 there. When I try to dimension it correspondingly, the nominal diameter M42 appears, the pitch 4.5 and the thread tolerance 6g. It’s needless for me. The nominal diameter would be enough for me!
I have already studied dimensioning styles a little bit but can’t unriddle it. That’s why I’m asking you

Could you help me? This would be great!
    Thanks!

    Hello!
What nominal diameter do you mean?
The ø can be found in all table books depending on the pitch.
Sometimes there’re also recommendations for particular tools by tool manufacturers.
