    Hello everybody

Next year in March we are going to get a new Hermle C60.
Now we would like to know if anybody already has experience with it and if someone could give us some advice. The machine has a 12000 spindle with HSK 100 - we don’t have experience with that because our old machines all have HSK 63.
On the machine we want to process SR,SL, 5 sided processing, deep hole drilling (mould construction)

    Kind regards
    Chris

The C60 is an amazing machine. We got our one in august. However it has it’s special characteristics.
The problem starts when you want to pivot e.g. A-90 and then want to go with the tool to the circular table middle ...because depending on the tool length, you need at least a holder of 160mm... cutter heads and side milling cutters with a diameter of 160 in aluminium and steel are no problem. Reinforced shrinkfit holders for the roughing for definitely useful.
