    Hello people

    I have a question: is it possible to install an “attachment” onto a manual turning lathe in order to be able to cut threads??? – CNC-controlled???

    Thread cutting isn’t possible. There’s such attachment for contour turning. You would need a position transducer for the spindle to be able to cut threads. Otherwise it would be possible.

    Reconstruction is possible, but it’ll a CNC turning lathe then
