Hello everyone
Last week two tool manufacturers visited us.
Both recommended Precitool or YG-1 to us instead of a Walter or Sandvik VHM-cutter.
They said the quality is comparable but a lot cheaper.

I have to add that we only process aluminum.

I never heard of YG-1 and Precitool. Is anyone familiar with these brands?

Currently we use swivel plate cutters from Sandvik- now we only look for a VHM drill and VHM cutter.

The „private label“ manufacturers such as YG-1 or Eckerle and Ertel produce the tools for many of the big firms. I won’t name any names but believe me you can buy their products almost everywhere.
I have tested the products from YG-1 and Eckerle&Ertel and the results were very convincing.
