    Hello people!
I have a monitor with a control panel of a Makino wire EDM machine (I believe it’s an ec3040).
My question is: could anybody tell me whether it’s an ec3040 or how it can be detected? I can’t ask anybody in my firm.
I’d also like to know whether the controller is in the control panel. I hope someone can help me. I’d like to sell the thing.
    I’ll appreciate any help.

It’s a model from the period before 1987. It has only a green monitor and no graphics.

It’s quite simply to detect if the controller is inside the control panel. You have to dismount see and see how many plugs fit in there. If about 1000, then it’s a controller, if 2 or 3 – then just a control panel.

The controller of the machine is in the switchboard. The unit at the picture is a monitor body.

Is it possible to sell the thing or isn’t it worth the trouble?

Well, it may be valuable for someone who needs the thing. Monitors break down quite often.
