Hi all.
Please help me to go into boot menu on my Fanuc 20i system. I was follow up " Starting the Boot System" procedure as manual: I push and hold down two right most soft key when power on, but the system can not go to boot system, and go directly into normal boot and display so many alarm.

Boot by holding down number 6 and number 7 from keypad and see what you get.

In the CNC menu on screen after control is loaded up, does your keypad and menu keys function properly?

Yes, the keypad work fine. I have same problem with 160i, 210i system, with is used NCboot software. Once powerred, if system display" NCboot start" then I can not goto boot menu.

Well you press the two buttons before, hold them, and only then you power on the machine. Since you say you couldn't get it done for 3 different machines with 3 different Fanuc i controls, must be that you were not doing that. If that really doesn't work, maybe some weird design, lower the main disconnect switch, get someone to press those two keys, raise the main disconnect, then power on. As far as I know the boot menu cannot even be blocked by the OEM.

I mean that I only have trooble with those controllers, and get good result with another ones( Oi, 16i, 218, ect...), and I don't know why I can not goto boot menu on those machine.
