A few issues I am having with mach3

    Hey guys,

I just got my x6-1500gt cnc machine working. I have it moving and I have ran a few g-code simulations that didn't cut anything just made the machine work. However, I designed a few things in vetric vcarve with dimension's around 12" x 4" but when I import them into mach3 they always show up very small. Less than 3 inch's but still proportionate. Any idea on why this might be happening.

Also, for awhile my z-axis was working incorrectly. PG Up and PG Down would be inversed. However, my probing tool worked in the correct way. I got the jog buttons to work correctly. Not my probe tool just goes up when I try to use to tool probe. Any ideas on this?

What post are you using in V-Carve Pro?
Is the g-code correct? Are you actually cutting the parts and they are smaller?
Is the machine setup in inches or mm's?

Sounds like your Z axis is setup backwards, and you just changed the jog keys to make it appear correct. Go to Config >Homing/Limits and check "Reversed" for the Z axis, then change your Z axis jog keys back to what they were.

You probably figured it out but I noticed with my tool height probe you have to jog the z axis down pretty close to probe top like within 15mm or so, then zero Z axis , then activate height setting. If it is to far above probe it will do as you described.
