Exclamation CMOS Battery Low after RTC Change

    Hello,
Our Hurco BMC 30 suddenly reported "CMOS Battery Low" when we switched it on last month.
I used the search for this forum and found out i had to put an external 3v cr2032 to the chip, which our local electrician did.
i did cmos reset with the jumper9 but the problem still persists.
we bought a new dallas chip (DS12887A) from hurco and STILL "CMOS Battery Low"

i have no idea what could be the problem and hope someone can help me, thanks in advance!

    more info:
-there is also a warning "CMOS Display Type Wrong"
-after jumper cmos reset, the machine does NOT display CMOS Battery Low, but fails to find a boot device (which i guess is because the bios hdd settings are wrong)
-bios setting changes are not saved
    -Ultimax 3 v1.63 Control

We are having the same issue with our BMC30, the power supply flaked out so we took one out of another machine and got the machine to start the boot but get a CMOS battery low warning and won't go past that. Going to follow this thread to see if we can get ours working too.

Did you get your machine up? Also where is the battery located? I looked at the mother board and cant see it, unless its on the back side.
