If you use a predefined region you can change the start point and direction

I have also found Rhinocam by default seems to choose the start point and direction based on the order the entities were created.
If you type "DIR" in the Rhino command line, You can change the direction of the entity.

Also you can use Rhino CrvSeam command to move start point.
