    Re: Maintenance Manual Lynx 220LM

The Lynx 220LM is very similar to the Puma 240M (which is posted in this forum)

If the labyrinth sets the preload on a tapered roller bearing AND it needs to be made larger to accommodate the new bearing's requirements, then it does need to be replaced. If needing to be altered to smaller, then "no"

For the instructions: I have a manual for a similar machine already posted to this thread...

page back to my post in this thread on 4-24-2015 at 3:13pm
Use that manual, but note: the instructions and procedures are the same, but the parts are not. also...NO DOOSAN MANUAL WILL EVER TELL YOU THE PROPRIETARY PRELOAD RATIO. (When we did, customer screw ups got us sued. Preload too little makes "sloppy", preload too much makes premature bearing failure) This ensures that there is actual knowledge of bearings and their assembly, to have a repair be done correctly.

This machine is older than the manuals available beyond those shipped with the machine, sorry.

The HP 4000 is an older machine.

I do have manuals for an HP 5100.

Procedures are similar, but part numbers are different.

I then posted a mechanical, electrical, and 2 troubleshooting manuals. Please refer to those post, earlier in this same thread.

Re: Does anyone need service manuals for popular Doosan Machines?

Hello, our shop has a Puma MX2500LST.

The milling spindle shaft cracked in the taper and in preparation for replacing the spindle, I was wondering if there is anything special that needed to be done to set the spindle orientation so both the curvic coupling and tool changer work without issue. Nothing is mentioned in my manuals.

    Thank you.

Any chance you can help with one information - does all Lynx 200 - 220 machines with out the patrol light , have the needed PLC ladder information to support the working of the lamps?
The question is , does on all machines if the light is missing , only is missing the relay and the light , or does changes need to be implemented in the PLC program to make lights work if the machine did not have it when it shipped?
ps. Any chance to get electrical diagram for LYNX 200A and B ?

Re: Does anyone need service manuals for popular Doosan Machines?

    To best tell you this:

What is the machine's serial number? (found on the placard, located near the main power switch)
What is the Electrical Hardware version? (found on the placard, located near the main power switch)

    What is the ladder version?
    Press the <SYSTEM> hard key
Press the <PMC> softkey (depending on Fanuc model)
Press the <PMCPRM> or <PMCCONFIG> (depending on Fanuc model)
    Press the <TITLE> softkey
There is a field: PROGRAM DRAWING NUMBER (it is in the middle of the page)
It contains a LONG alphanumeric sequence, separated by a comma or colon...and then another alphanumeric sequence
I need the WHOLE code...everything in that field.

From this information, I can see why the machine does anything and everything related to IO

Other than the one's sold as actual parts, the only manual I have for a Lynx is the Installation Manual. (Attached)

    DHardt,

We are in need of any/all manuals for Doosan S310N (Serial number LSA1226). Right now, we have only the electrical manual and Fanuc controller manual for this machine.

Local dealer tells us the manuals are no longer available for sell.

I know the machine is old but I hope you can help getting manuals in any way.

    Regards,

    Louis Gauthier

This is not something that requires a manual, so it is not in any...

There is a spanner nut between the Quill and the thrust piston.

On a machine with a Dead Center, the spanner is mounted on the quill and needs to be turned to go toward the thrust piston to push the quill out, off of its face.

On a machine with a Live Center, the spanner is mounted on the Thrust piston and needs to be turned to go toward the quill to push the quill out, off of its back.
