Does anyone need service manuals for popular Doosan Machines?

At Doosan, we have a wide variety of Installation Manuals, Service Manuals, Alarm Manuals, and Technical Documents that simplify the troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repair of our machines.

These manuals are available to the general public.

There are way too many to post them all here... (though, if enough people request a specific manual, I can post some of the smaller ones...larger ones will exceed this site's limitations)

The attached screen capture shows a minuscule sampling of the available documentation.

I could use all or any manuals for a 2006 Doosan 2000sy with Fanuc 18i-TB control

Re: Does anyone need service manuals for popular Doosan Machines?

On a machine that old, I don't have the modern style of service manuals, but sections of different service manuals could assist with understanding a process of a specific repair. Is there a specific section you need, or is this a case of "I bought a used machine, but it had no manuals and I'm looking to get anything"?

If you need a whole new set of what are called "shipped manuals" (the ones that shipped with the machine) it is recommended that you contact the parts department, with your serial number, and they can assist with a replacement set.

To clarify, Doosan sells paper copies of "shipped manuals", so I can not offer those here (I can assist with small sections of those manuals, but not the whole thing)

[Note: you don't want to cut into Doosan's ability to keep its doors open and its technicians continuing to assist its users, as this would put an end to assistance like what is being given here]

Doosan has a large quantity of "Service Technician's Manuals", that go into extreme detail on "How to..."
Down to the level of full teardown&rebuild of many of their machines. (Note: Usually this is more toward the current selling machine than the older styles, but some of the sections of different manuals can be used for the older machine, to understand the process of the repair in question.)

I've attached a small sample of a Mynx 650 Spindle cartridge removal.

I am looking for a better one, but this is what I've found so far...

An old procedure for a Mynx500.

Note: use the part drawings FOR REFERENCE ONLY (part numbers should be acquired from the actual part book for your machine.)

A request was made for Fanuc's procedure for battery replacement.

This document includes instuctuctions on replacing the battery for:
    2.6.1 Memory Back Up
    2.6.2 Separate Absolute Pulse Coder

There are 4 styles of manuals that are SOLD with the machine...I can not provide manuals that we "SELL"

The manuals that we "SELL" are:
    1. Electical (Hardware)
    2. Parts
    3. Instuction (Installation&Maintenance)
    4. Operation

I can assist with small sections (to help with clarification) but have been informed NOT to give away our revenue while assisting.

To obtain an Operations Manual, please contact your local Doosan Dealer or dial 1-973-618-2500 and ask for the Parts Department (give them the "DNM 500 serial # MV0010-000977" info, and they can assist you.)

I don't have one for a V400, but here is a similar one for a V550 (processes and procedures are similar, but part numbers are different)

Re: Does anyone need service manuals for popular Doosan Machines?

PMC parameters (Doosan's Parameters) are found in the Blue-Book, located in the pocket of the electrical door, and are specific to the serial number of the machine (and should be updated as options are added/installed)

CNC Parameters (Fanuc Parameters) are printed for the specific values that the machine was shipped with, and those are located in the aforementioned Blue-Book, yet "manuals that describe the parameters" are acquired through Fanuc.

Do you have anything that can show us how to set the turret timing on a Puma v550? we have taken the drive motor loose, and ran the index motor but one direction we don't lock into the Curvic, and the other way you see it rotate the opposite direction a little as it is pulling up in.

Here are the instructions for correcting the geometry.

Use the turret section to correct the turret's geometry.
