Hi all,

I am want to build a cnc machine to make PCB in QFP LQPF mostly to DIP or little more space.
I have build 2 pieces 1 mm per revolution 12mm diameter thread 30CM long, on a friend lathe + 2 pieces 4CM NUT`s made by him "can get 2 more and put a spring between them".
can make also 2 shafts with square threads but 2mm for revolutions with the NUT`s also.

I need to know possibly if these shafts are OK for my expectation, and what support bearings do i need else for these axis. open suggestion for the Z axis.
Home i have spot welder and stick welding machine, but can borrow MIG also.
For motors i don't know what to put in. I was looking for cheap nema17 "not going for speed just to get it done".
For electronics i got some Arduino uno r3 with GRBL on them, and StepStick Stepper motor driver A4988.

Can these motors do the job ???

Guys i am open to suggestions but on a tight budget :P :P :P.

Attached PIC of shafts NUT`S. For the case can get square profile with aluminium corners to make it 90 degrees sharp.

Hi Guys,

can i borrow the design from prusia i3 JBFromOZ - RepRapWiki but with the shafts instead of belt ??.

any help Ideas.
