Hi Everyone,

So, we just got a new Vertical CNC, and its pretty much set up, and we're ready to start cutting.

We're making some wooden iPhone accessories, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what kinds of end mills to use?

I was reading recently that full depth cutting is a good idea, because it wears the end mill out more evenly, and I have a few profile cuts in some 3/4" pieces, that Id love to get in one pass.

We've just been using 1/8" router bits from home depot, but should we look for something better at woodcraft or somewhere like that?

Anyone have any strong opinions?

Without seeing exactly what you're doing, it's hard to make recommendations.

You're not going to be able to make a 3/4" deep pass with a 1/8" tool.

If your making small things with small tools, then you don't have a lot of options. Usually, cutting small details with large tools causes damaged parts.
But it really depends on the exact operations that you'll be doing to give any kind of recommendation.
