I'm not sure the best place to put this but here goes:..

I ran into a SV023 Z alarm on this machine. I figured out that I needed to hit the reset switch on the relay for the Z on the velocity control unit. Now the SV023 alarm is gone but the red LED for "Overload" is still lit. There are no alarm messages to read or anything.

The "Single Block" button is also lit up.

I can Auto ZRN no problem, but it still won't let me clear the "overload" alarm LED. I can even jog in handle mode.

Here is a pic of a similar control unit... my e stop is on the right though, other than that, it's the same.

I've checked as many fuses as I could find but all appear to be in operational.

I'm about to bang my head against the wall... can anybody shed some light on this situation?

reset switch on the relay for the Z, is that a motor starter with an overload block? If so the contacts in the OL are likely stuck. That would give the control the signal that the thing is still tripped.

ladder can reveal you the input point (X address)
then just trace wire from input point of PMC to machine side
