Hello,

I recently bought an old Mori Seiki ZL-15 SM lathe from 1990 (2 spindled, C axis on main spindle), FANUC MF-D4 (I believe it's 0T series), I managed to start it (without the C axis since I cannot find suitable live toolholders) and now it's producing. The problem I have it's that I cannot send/receive data using the RS232 connection and the lathe will not accept parametric programming (#1=50 #2=12 etc), for this reason I'm loosing a lot of time writing programs by hand.

Anyone can please help?

do you check your RS232 setting in parameters?i think this may be fault of your setting.tell me that do you have checked it?

Probably a 0TT nightmare control. You will need Fanuc option custom macro for the variables.

check your parameters and cable. it really isn't that difficult to make it work as long as your machine and communication hardware is working.

Still -I know it is off topic- I could not solve the parametric programming issue, so any input is more than apreciated

you need macro B. Its an option.
